It is the Company’s policy to conduct its business in a manner that ýprotects the safety of employees, others involved in its operations, ýcustomers, and the public to prevent all accidents, injuries, and ýoccupational illnesses through the active participation of every ýemployee.
The company is committed to continuous efforts to identify and ýeliminate or manage safety risks associated with its activities.ý
Accordingly, the Company’s policy is to :
- design and maintain facilities, establish management systems, ýprovide training and conduct operations in a manner that safeguards ýpeople and propertyý.
- respond quickly, effectively and with care to emergencies or ýaccidents resulting from its operations, in co-operation with industry ýorganizations and authorized government agenciesý.
- Work with government agencies and others to develop responsible ýlaws, regulations, and standards based on sound science and ýconsideration of riský.
- Conduct and support research to extend knowledge about the safety ýeffects of its operations, and promptly apply significant findings and, ýas appropriate, share them with employees, contractors, government ýagencies, and others who might be affectedý.
- Stress to all employees, contractors, and others working on its behalf ýtheir responsibility and accountability for safe performance whilst at ýwork and encourage safe behavior outside of worký.

- seek to identify and evaluate health risks related to its operations that ýpotentially affect its employees, contractors or the publicý.

- as appropriate provide or arrange for medical services necessary for ýthe treatment of employee occupational illnesses or injuries and for ýthe handling of medical emergenciesý.
